The End of Roe v. Wade?

Updated: May 18, 2022

By now, most of you have probably heard about the leak of the draft opinion from the Supreme Court, revealing that they are poised to overturn Roe v. Wade. Here are a few things you need to know.

First, this is not an official ruling, and opinions can change. This leak is a blatant attempt at the pro-abortion side to politicize the Supreme Court’s deliberation and a horrific tactic to influence the public's opinion (by sharing misinformation).

Second, Roe v. Wade will not end abortion in America. It will return the decisions to the states, which is how our country is intended to run. It will definitely prevent many abortions, save countless babies, and protect women and men from the devasting effects abortion has on their lives, and for that, we are so grateful.

Third, God was not surprised by any of this. He is on His throne, and I'll let you in on a not-so-secret secret – He wins! We are in the middle of a spiritual battle, and it is raging, but we are on the side of Victory!

What can you do?

Pray! (Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always – 1 Chronicles 16:11)

Pray for the Supreme Court decision to stand, pray for the justices to stand firm, pray for the staff here to be strong and endure through what could be very trying times, and pray for pregnancy centers across the country who will come under attack and overwhelmed with the need of their services. Pray for the women and men who will find themselves in crisis that they will find us (or someone like us) to help them navigate this part of their life. Pray for the unborn babies that are fighting for their life. Pray that all will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Volunteer! (Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in various forms. – 1 Peter 4:10)

We cannot do this alone. We need you to provide assistance with every aspect of what we do. We know God has equipped you with certain gifts, and we can put them to use in ministry to those in crisis.

Share the truth! (Be careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. – Ephesians 5:15-16).

We know we live in evil times, and the greatest weapon we have is the Truth. The truth of who Jesus is and how precious life is. Inform yourself of the facts and share those truths lovingly and compassionately.

Give! (You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us, your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. – 2 Corinthians 9:11).

We need your financial support more than ever. More women and men will be seeking support for their families, and we will be here to provide that support.

What an incredible time to be alive and serving the Lord!
