Roe v. Wade Decision

Wow, what an incredible victory for life! Our staff took time this morning to praise God and thank Him for this amazing win for life! The outpouring from the churches and community in support of us made the victory even sweeter.

We have won this battle; however, the war is far from over! I am including an adapted version of a letter I sent after the State of Texas enacted the Heartbeat Law. Here are a few things you need to know.

This decision will not end abortion in America. It will return the decisions to the states, which is how our country is intended to run. It will definitely prevent many abortions, save countless babies, and protect women and men from the devasting effects abortion has on their lives, and for that, we are so grateful. We have already received word that Houston abortion clinics have ceased all abortions (they actually have a banner hanging on the front of their building).

God was not surprised by any of this. He is showing His might by having this decision made during the most anti-life administration in US history. He is mighty and victorious, but that doesn't mean the devil isn't stirred up because he is. There have been calls for violence against pregnancy centers like ours and other pro-life organizations. We have taken all appropriate security measures, including regularly praying over the staff and facility.

We are needed and needed even more than ever! We need to expand our services. We have already built a second lab to increase the number of women we can see daily. We need to build a larger separate parenting center to serve more women and men for a more extended time, allowing us to add an ultrasound/exam room in the clinic. We will need more supplies such as diapers, wipes, formula, baby beds, car seats, clothing, etc

What can you do?

Pray! (Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always – 1 Chronicles 16:11)

Pray for the staff here to be strong and endure through what could be very trying times. Pray for pregnancy centers across the country that will come under attack and overwhelmed with the need for their services. Pray for the women and men who will find themselves in crisis that they will find us (or someone like us) to help them navigate this part of their life. Pray for the unborn babies that are fighting for their life. Pray that all will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Volunteer! (Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. – 1 Peter 4:10)

We cannot do this alone. We need you to assist with every aspect of what we do. We know God has equipped you with certain gifts, and we can put them to use in ministry to those in crisis. We will be busier and will need more volunteers to help with our expansion

Share the Truth! (Be careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. – Ephesians 5:15-16).

We know we live in evil times, and the greatest weapon we have is the Truth. The Truth of who Jesus is and how precious life is. Inform yourself of the facts and share those truths lovingly and compassionately.

Give! (You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us, your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. – 2 Corinthians 9:11).

We need your financial support more than ever. More women and men will be seeking help for their families, and we will be here to provide that support.

Come by for a tour and see how we serve the Lord by serving our community. What an incredible time to be alive and serving the Lord!
